DREADLOCK DETOX

It doesn’t matter what kind of dreadlocks you have, a good detox is necessary for removing impurities and maintaining healthy locs.

Stimulates growth. A dreadlock detox cleanses and removes build up that may be lying on the scalp preventing growth.

Sometimes simply washing your hair doesn’t remove all of the residue that gels and pomades may leave behind.

Our maintenance appointments are necessary to aftercare to ensure your dreadlocks are always in the best shape.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do You Have To Maintain Dreadlocks After You Get Them?

A: Some people tend to think that dreadlocks are maintenance free. This couldn’t be farther from the truth especially in the beginning. Dreadlocks require maintenance to ensure they are growing and maturing properly.

Q: How Often Can I Wash My Dreadlocks?

A: After your first maintenance appointment, you can wash them just like you did your hair before your dreadlocks. About every 7 days is a great timeframe to shampoo and focus on cleansing your scalp

Q: How Often Should I Get My Dreadlocks Maintained?

A: For starter dreadlocks, the first year is the most maintenance you will probably see. However, for more mature dreadlocks, your maintenance schedule depends on how you like to wear your hair. If you like it more messy and wild, you can go longer between maintenance appointments. If you like a neater more polished dread look, you can come in more often to have them maintained.

Q:How Long Does A Maintenance Session Take?

A: Depending on how many dreadlocks you have, it can take between 1 and 3 hours.
